Ever since I was a little girl growing up on a small hobby farm, I have had an affinity for God's creation; for the animals that he has blessed me with over the years, for the beauty of nature around me, as well as the people he has placed in my life to carry me through tough times. These are all an essential part of God's creation. Together, my husband and I eventually want to turn our tiny "ranch" into a safe haven for at risk teens to dwell, and to learn about God's amazing love for them.

Right now our humble little ranch includes two good natured miniature goats, a horse, dog, guinea pig, and betta fish. Eventually, my passion for youth ministry would like to turn this into something much bigger! Our goats and dog play an instrumental role in our youth ministry for an organization called Timber bay; the kids love to pet and play with these critters, and the animals, in turn, open up a cavity in their hearts that no person can. God has created an almost magical presence through the quiet understanding that an unconditionally loving pet brings to the hearts of the hurting.

In the future, I would like a huge part of our ministry to involve the rescuing of abused and neglected horses, and the adoption and fostering of struggling teens, and 'throw away' children.

Mission Statement:
To glorify God by reaching out to underprivileged youth, demonstrate the love of Christ to them, and encourage them toward accepting Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Vision for Ministry:
Bringing hope and new life for the hurting youth surrounding the ministry through the steadfast faithfulness of putting children first; using scripture and fervent prayer as a basis, involving the children's families as much as possible, or in some cases, taking children out of a dangerous family situation, and horses as a tool for opening up the heart doors of damaged children. stepping into the children’s realm of understanding will always be essential for reaching them and this ministry will accomplish this by continually learning and understanding the culture they are living in.
